JBall

JBall (she/her) is a Pole Instructor, Ambassador and Co - founder of Curves & Chrome. After many years teaching and coaching in Charlotte, NC she is now based in Richmond, VA. JBall has been poling since 2015 specializing in spin fluidity, choreography, and her Thick with Tricks brand which focuses on teaching self identified mid - plus size bodies aerial tricks and transitions geared towards their curves.

Whether in classes or on stage, she loves to promote body inclusivity within the pole community. You will leave JBall’s workshops feeling empowered and celebrated!

  • Thick with Tricks: ALL in the HIPS

    Calling all THICC BADDIES! Learn a shapely combo with low pole options of tricks tailored to the hip contact point. This is where a little "extra thickness" may help! We will break down each move, explore modifications for YOUR curves, and finesse connecting the combo for fluidity. This class is for ALL body types!

    Level: High Beginner, climb hold and jasmine. Will have options for ALL.

  • Spin & Flow When it comes to low-flow movement, do you always think of a static pole? Not anymore! This workshop will introduce you to fluid transitions, dynamic glides, and sequences on a spin pole. Level: Beginner, must have a solid pole sit. Wear shorts, heels/and or socks

Poundcake

Poundcake (she/her/That-Bitch) is an award-winning plus-size pole dance instructor and competition readiness coach from Los Angeles, CA. She has been poling since July 2014 and focuses heavily on transitioning curious minds into confident, empowered and sexy pole dancers through sensually electrifying dance sequences.

Poundcake’s mission is to continue creating a safe environment for individuals to explore pole dancing regardless of experience, shape or size. She is also the owner of Naughty Goddexx, a size-inclusive pole wear brand and Curves & Chrome.

You'll learn the secrets of sensual dance, from body rolls to floorwork and partner-assisted chair dance all while embracing your curves and celebrating your femininity. Shillo Amari

Shillo Amari is a dynamic performer from Detroit, making waves through the States! With over 9 years of pole dance experience, she's not just a performer—she's a coach, judge, and fierce competitor. Known for her tantalizing performances flowing on stage and making us smile, and her unwavering advocacy for plus-size and curvy bodies.

  • Sin-ergy

    Explore the parts of yourself that bring you pleasure and learn how to channel that into your movement. Sensuality is powerful, and in this sacral-energized workshop, we’ll create a space to let it flow freely. Using prompted movement (potentially involving a partner or prop), we'll work together to add the details to make your movement come from an instinctual place. Use this time to let go and tap into what your version of sexy and sensual looks like.

    All levels - heels optional.

  • Connect & Introspect

    Become present in your movement and learn to express your true self through it. We'll begin with a dynamic dance warm-up to get both your body and mind prepared, followed by prompted movement exercises designed to enhance movement quality. Come with an open mind and a willingness to discuss. Whether you identify as sensual, comical, lyrical, athletic, or anything in between, this workshop can benefit you.

    All levels welcome. Socks, knee pads, and layers are optional. Please bring a journal or something to write with.

Curves With Confidence

Curves With Confidence is a lifestyle coach since 2022, she empowers others to embrace self-love and confidence. Starting her confidence journey in 2016 and pole dancing in 2021, she uses somatic movements and holistic practices to help people connect with their bodies and feel "delicious."

  • Look in the Mirror & Say “Damn, I Look Good!”

    an empowering class focused on building confidence and self-love from the inside out. Using a blend of somatic movement, positive affirmation techniques, and body-awareness exercises, you'll learn to see yourself in a new light. This class is all about embracing your unique beauty, silencing self-criticism, and stepping into the fullest version of yourself. Get ready to look in the mirror and genuinely say, "Damn, I look good!"—and mean it.

    • Introduction & Intention Setting: A brief meditation to center yourself and set personal goals for self-love and confidence. 
    • Somatic Movement & Body Awareness: Guided exercises to release tension, reconnect with your body, and boost physical confidence
    • Mirror Work & Affirmations: Practicing positive self-affirmations while looking in the mirror to reframe self-perception.
    • Reflection & Group Sharing: A space to share insights and breakthroughs in a supportive community.

Aspen

Aspen is a dedicated 200-hour certified yoga and pole instructor with nine years of experience in guiding others through practices that cultivate self-awareness, embodiment, and sensuality. Specializing in vinyasa, yin, and low flow, Aspen’s approach blends meditation and mindful movement, encouraging students to reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels empowering and liberating. Whether through yoga or sensual pole dance flow, Aspen creates a welcoming space for exploration, where individuals can deepen their connection to themselves and their practice. Aspen teaches pole dance at Candy Cane Dance Studio and yoga classes at Ethereal Movement  Studio.
