Reflections on Past Retreats
Our past retreats have been transformative, empowering dancers to reconnect with their bodies, build confidence, and find balance in movement and rest. Each experience created space for growth, joy, and deep connection; both on and off the pole. From breakthrough moments in workshops to laughter-filled nights and lifelong bonds formed, every retreat has left lasting memories of rejuvenation, self-discovery, and embodied confidence that our attendees carry with them long after returning home.

Tulum, Mexico
Our third retreat in Tulum, Mexico brought Curves & Chrome into deeper alignment.
Set in a space known for grounding energy and intention, this experience invited dancers to tune in and move with purpose. Led by Poundcake, JBall, and Molly Meru, attendees explored curvy-friendly pathways, strength-building techniques, and embodied confidence in an environment rooted in reflection and community. Tulum marked a moment of integration; where growth, softness, and power coexisted beautifully.

Jaco, Costa Rica
Our second Curves & Chrome retreat in Costa Rica expanded everything we began. Set against lush landscapes and grounding nature, this experience deepened our commitment to size-inclusive movement, rest, and community. With guidance from Poundcake, JBall, Shillo Amari, Curves with Confidence, and Aspen, dancers explored new pathways, built strength with intention, and moved with confidence in bodies that felt fully supported. Costa Rica marked a powerful evolution; proof that Curves & Chrome is not just a retreat, but a growing global community.
September 2024
Los Angeles, CA
Our inaugural retreat brought together curvy, mid-size, and plus-size pole dancers for a powerful week of movement, connection, and self-discovery. Led by an incredible lineup of instructors—Poundcake, JBall, Tink Short n Sweet and The Aerial Crystal —this retreat set the foundation for what Curves & Chrome represents: intentional instruction, body-aware movement, and a community where every body is celebrated.
